A VISIT from John L. Ross to Syble Small Bradshaw in Canyan county California in 1974. She suggested that we should have a school reunion for Turner High School. Two years later in 1976, John L. visited Syble again and she insisted that we have a school reunion. John and Bill got together and visted Mrs. Atholene Brewster and the idea of a Turner Reunion was set in place.

John L. Ross is retired as a computer tape opeator with Reeds Rockbits Tool Company after 35 years. He is a member of St. Luke Baptist Church. John and his wife Ruthie have 3 daugthers, Linda K, Cheryl, and Danita. Linda is employed at M.D. Anderson as supervisor of admission. Cheryl works at Houston First and Denita is employed with Spring ISD. They have five grandchildren and 2 grandchildren.
